This page collects what a reporter, editor or producer needs to write about the Global Education Alliance proposal accurately. Everything here is reusable under CC BY 4.0 with attribution.

Boilerplate

The Global Education Alliance (GEA) is a proposed trustee body for sovereign, AI-powered education infrastructure. The proposal consists of two papers published on Zenodo in 2026 by Matthias Pochmann: a Moonshot paper arguing that education belongs on the EU's MFF 2028–2034 Moonshot list as a twelfth strategic infrastructure project, and an Architecture paper specifying the eight-layer technical model. Both are open-access under CC BY 4.0. The initiative is neutral — not a commercial platform, not a political party, not a state programme.

The papers

Both source papers, with DOIs, Zenodo links, abstracts and ready-to-paste citations, are on the Papers page.

Visual assets

The press kit contains both site figures — the eight-layer dependency graph and the sovereignty chain — as standalone SVG (light and dark) and as PNG at 2× and 4×, plus a one-page README with the boilerplate and ready-to-paste citations. Everything is licensed CC BY 4.0.

Press contact

Press queries are handled through the same channel as other substantive engagement: the corresponding-author route on the Zenodo records. A dedicated press email will be published here once the initiative formalises. Embargoed material can be discussed via that channel on request.
